Note: Numerous individuals of this species were incorrectly identified as Anoba pectinata. This error was corrected and the individuals were moved to the polyspila species page (SS, 7 Dec 2021). 

Other Notes

Similar species

Anoba pectinata (Hampson, 1896) is close to Anoba polyspila (Walker, 1865), which Hampson (1896) states hardly differs from Anoba pectinata. Anoba pectinata (Hampson, 1896) male has pectinate antennae as shown in FBI, Hampson, Vol. 2, Fig. 289, pg. 514. 

Females of Anoba pectinata and Anoba polyspila are more difficult to separate.
