Cephonodes hylas (Linnaeus, 1771). Assam, Karnataka (Ghoparde et al.,(2013)), Kerala (Mathew et al., 2018), Madhya Pradesh (Chandra and Nema, 2007) , Punjab (Pathiana et al., 2014),Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand.
Cephonodes picus (Cramer, 1777), Himalayan region (Sanyal et al.,2018), Karnataka (Ghoparde et al., 2013), Madhya Pradesh (Chandra and Nema, 2007), Punjab (Singh and Kaur,2017), Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand (Sondhi and Sondhi, 2016).

Cephonodes hylas is very similar species to Cephonodes picus, which lacks apical thorn on its tibia, which picus has. Additionally, underside head and thorax of picus is orange, whereas that of hylas is white/whitish or pale yellow.

Cephonodes picus (Cramer, [1777]) – Green Bumble-bee Hawkmoth: Coffea sp.Haldina cordifolia, Hymenodictyon obovatum, Hymenodictyon orixense, Mitragyna diversifolia, Mitragyna parvifolia, Catunaregam spinosa (Rubiaceae),Tectona grandis (Lamiaceae), Xylia xylocarpa (Fabaceae) (Robinson et al. 2010).
