Diphtherocome chloronympha Hreblay, Peregovits & Ronkay, 1999. Nepal.

Diphtherocome thaumasia (Hreblay & Ronkay, 1998). Nepal. 

Diphtherocome vigens (Walker, [1865]) and Diphtherocome pallida (Moore, 1867) are similar species. 

D. vigens: Smaller in size (WS: 40 mm). Antennae of male bipectinnate with short branches, the apical third ciliated. Hind wing with broad brownish subterminal band. Has black spots on forewing as marginal. 

D. pallida: Larger in size (WS: 46 mm). Antennae of male bipectinnate with moderate branches, the apical fourth ciliated. Forewing with strong black band beyond postmedial line. Forewing with black mark in submedian interspace, before postmedial line. Has black spots on forewing as submarginal.
