Taxonomic Information

Similiar species:

Lobogonodes multistriata

Separated from L. multistriata by presence of brown discocellular spot, outlined by white (versus black-centered discocellular spot in multistriata). L. multistriata has three triangular-shaped spots at dorsum below tornus on forewing, while porphyriata has three curved bands.
