Taxonomic Information

Macotasa Moore, 1878 is a similar-looking genus  known from India.
Macotasa nubecula (Moore, 1879)
Macotasa tortricoides (Walker, 1862)
Macohasa orientalis (Hampson, 1905)

The above three species display sexual dimorphism, and examining genitalia is required to ascertain species identities and separation from Macohasa orientalis (Hampson, 1905) with certainty.
