Taxonomic Information

There are 78 Scopula Schrank, 1802 species known from India (Kirti et al. 2019). Scopula is a cryptic genus with many species lacking a distinctive fascia on the wings.Hence, genitalia and/or barcoding are needed to separate species with certainty. This page shows a gallery of Scopula spp. if these individuals are identified to the species level in the future, they will be moved to species pages.
