Trichosea Grote, 1875 species known from the Indian subcontinent:

Trichosea champa (Moore, 1879) (Moma). Dharmsala. NE Himalaya. 

Trichosea diffusa Sugi, 1986. Nepal; Uttarakhand, E. Himalayas. 

Trichosea funebris Berio, 1973. Myanmar.

Trichosea gypsochroa (Hampson, 1913) (Moma). Sri Lanka.

Trichosea nigrescens (Hampson, 1913) (Moma). Sri Lanka.

Trichosea obsolescens (Warren, 1913). India: Punjab. 

Lepindex lists Trichosea obsolescens (Hampson, 1913) and Trichosea diffusa Sugi, 1986 as a synonym of Trichosea champa

Separating Trichosea champa and Trichosea diffusa (pers. com. Jose Martinez, who has done research on this genus).

Trichosea champa: Wingspan: ~45 mm, larger. Pair of black lines below cell spot on FW are generally open. HW apex is heavily suffused with black. Costal spot above cell spot is broader than diffusa

Trichosea diffusa: Wingspan ~38-40 mm, smaller. Pair of black lines below cell spot on FW are generally curved inwards to form an incomplete circle.  HW apex is less suffused with black, compared with champa. Costal spot above cell spot is more linear compared with champa.
