Note: The nominate subspecies, Dysodia miniata miniata (Walker, 1863) has far more yellow coloration on the forewing and hindwing. South Indian populations (and the illustration in MON, Part 5) are more reddisg, lacking yellow, and possibly represent an undescribed subspecies.
