Cechetra lineosa (Walker, 1856), Arunachal Pradesh (Chandra and Sambath 2013), Assam (Arandhara et al., 2017), Punjab (Singh and Kaur 2020).
Cechetra minor (Butler, 1875), Nepal, Northern India (Pittaway and Kitching, 2020).
Cechetra scotti Rothschild, 1920, North West India and Nepal (Rafi et al., 2014).

Cechetra lineosa - Striped Green Hawkmoth


A very variable species with forms that may appear very similiar to the species below:
C.minor: the thorax is plain, lacking the pale stripe in the middle of the thorax.
C.scotti: the forewings flushed pink basally and the antennae proximally pink, the green costa is very prominent.
C.subangustata: upperside forewings uniformingly green underside greenish tone not an orange tone.
