Note: Provisionally identified as means separating this species from Tamba delicata Prout, 1932 remains unclear.

Note: Not certain on how to separate Tamba multiplaga and Tamba delicata, but presence of green spot near base of forewing and a green patch on abdomen are two differences I can spot in delicata. MOB states multiplaga is a valid taxon from NE Himalaya. If synonymized in the future, Tamba multiplaga will take precedence. 
ZSI lists both these species from NE India, but I think that is an error; Faunal Diversity of Indian Himalaya Chandra et al 2018.
